  28. DESCRIPTION
  29.  
  30.      An editor for use with the Formula One Grand Prix or World Circuit
  31.      game (published by MicroProse Software).  It is very easy to use,
  32.      with a standard 2.0 look graphical user interface (even on KS 1.x!)
  33.      and on-line help should you need it.
  34.  
  35.      Allows you to alter most of the in-game setup, including computer
  36.      car performance, car/helmet/pitcrew colours, car fragility and many
  37.      other things (and I MEAN many!).  Sound samples can also be replaced,
  38.      cockpit graphics changed, and lap records and setups printed.
  39.  
  40.      Changes can be saved directly to a copy of the game which is running
  41.      in memory, or to the main file used by the game for a more permanent
  42.      change.
  43.  
  44.      Also incorporated in the main program are a number of memory patches,
  45.      including Toni Wilen's GPPatch and Grant Reeve's PatchF1GP.
  46.  
  47.      F1GP-Ed breathes new life into an ageing, but excellent game.  1994,
  48.      1995, 1996 and 1997 sample datafiles supplied for those who don't
  49.      want to mess about with all the options.
  50.  
  51.      The program itself is auto-enhancing, which means that it will run
  52.      on a basic A500 with KS 1.2, but will make use of KS 2.x or KS 3.x
  53.      specific routines on suitable machines to make itself even better.
  54.  
  55.      Supported languages:

  57.      English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Swedish,
  58.      Finnish, Norwegian and Czech.

  60. NEW FEATURES
  61.  
  62.    o Updated f1gp.library (now V35.4): New patch will make F1GP take notice
  63.      of the VBR on systems which normally use it - this means that if you
  64.      usually have to disable the VBR to get F1GP to work, then you no longer
  65.      need to do so
  66.    o The Amiga's audio filter can now be set to your preferred setting
  67.      whenever you play the game
  68.    o It is now possible to have wet practice and qualifying sessions
  69.    o Added a new multiplayer patch which makes player cars indestructible
  70.      when the computer is driving them.  This is grouped with the "Fix Speed
  71.      Problems" patch (previously named "Multiplayer Fix")
  72.    o The position of the GPPatch HUD can now be preset
  73.    o Lap records can now be loaded and mixed with the current records
  74.    o Shortcut "Today" button provided in the lap record editor
  75.    o Improved "Less cars in races" patch
  76.    o Lots of important bug fixes

  85.      itself and most of the features will work on machines with less
  86.      memory.
